B. edulis and others
    #9150105 - 10/28/08 06:45 PM (15 years, 3 months ago)

Not sure where my camera is, so no habitat shots. Had to barrow a cam to take these.

A bunch of kings, manzanita boletes, a black bolete that I am too lazy to key out, and a few chanterelles.

What a pig!

Matsutake

Damn, those look great!

Not too into Matsutake, but I love B. edulis and the related species.

Those are some nice looking Leccinum; L. manzanitae?

The black bolete was probably Tylopilus porphyrosporus or something similar.

I don't think posting finds is pointless.

I appreciate the eye candy, even though it is a tease.

You can determine from the maturity of some of the mushrooms that its somewhere around the peak of the season for kings. Thats useful info to some people. I'll take habitat pictures next time, they are more interesting to look at imo.
