I was a cook for a few years and I paid close attention to the viewpoints of the people who played in bands, waitresses, other people on the line and did notice a correlation in body identification with consumption of red meat. Certainly pornography increases the level of objectification in the other sex. Objectification does lead to focus on the physicality...
Personally I have found the consumption of entheogenic substances to be incompatible with meat based diets. It started with curtailing meats because of a semi habitual dosage of some MAOI containing beverages... Over time I developed an extreme aversion to meat...
These changes in diet have had an enriching effect on the depth of my personal experience of this very odd place we live in.
Maybe I was overgeneralizing, but I do not know of any ayahuasqueros who enjoy noshing on red meat
It's funny how the medicine tastes "bad" and the junk food tastes "good".

In the terms of how my meat is cooked, and not what KIND of meat it is (beef and the like are referred to as red meat regardless of how much they're cooked), I don't like it red. One, because it's fucking disgusting to me... I don't like the taste of it. Two, it's not as easy to digest and I can fucking tell because it makes my stomach ache. Three.... I'm scared of E. Coli.
Some will say that the amazing variety in the human diet is part of what aided our mental evolution.
Wow what a tangent this thread has gone on.

I like to eat rare red meat off the bone and paint my face in the excess blood, while beating a drum made from the animal's skin to ward off bad juju during the next hunt.
I guess that's how I've come to correctly attribute the entirety of a human's existence to a complex, predictive neutral network capable of self-awareness. And I always thought it was because I wasn't crazy, go figure.
Someone who has given up porn and red meat took a u-turn on the road to figuring out life imo.

I don't believe there is a meaning to life but I do believe it can be figured out. In my psychadelic experiences there is usually a point where I experience some sort of revelation of nature. The fact that we can explore and learn about reality supports the idea that life can be figured out in some way. But as for an actual meaning or purpose I dont think there is one and the fact that we cant figure one out seems to support this. To think that there is a goal or purpose really brings in an extra and unnecessary element to reality. I think things just are. Everything everywhere is having an experience.. reality is experience divided into different forms. Thats it. No God, soul, or anything like that which needs to fulfill some purpose.

Lets see what our good buddy Ra has to say about 'figuring life out':
Quote:
Questioner: I am assuming that it is not necessary for an individual to understand the Law of One to go from the third to the fourth density. Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. It is absolutely necessary that an entity consciously realize it does not understand in order for it to be harvestable. Understanding is not of this density.
