Well it would be cheaper to make your own jars if you have about an hour and $20.

If Money is an issue in your substrate jars, then I think your pretty much out of luck.  You can make your own substrate jars Cheaper every time.

yeah i was going to buy jars when i started but decided against it and am defiantly glad i did just buy supplies slowly between paydays it wont take long at all.i also think you run alot higher chance of contams buying premade jars online which could add to more cost and frustration and you'll end up eventually having to make them anyways.

The hardest thing to find in my area was vermiculite.  I got lucky finding it in mice 3lb bags at the hardware store garden section.  ACE is the place with the helpful verm-ic-u-lite maaaaaan!  It was $4 a bag, 1 bag made 24+ jars.  Also found BRF in the whole foods isle at the grocery store but it was $5 for 2 lbs.  So I bought a coffee grinder and 2 bags of brown rice and started grinding my own.  Jars were $10 per dozen at wally world.  so for $30 I had 24 jars and enough verm/BRF to go for it.  You can't get deals like that on the interweb!  WW also has a presto 16qt PC for $39.95...and all the sterilite tubs and showboxes and sweaterboxes and Oust and gloves and damn I love that store LOL!

Hardest thing for me to find so far has been a good CFL and a pressure cooker that doesn't cost like 150€. Vermiculite from pet shop, coir from hydroponics shop, everything else is moderately easy to find...

CFL? Any standard household one rated white ligh (instead of the slightly orange ones) will do fine.

You aren't growing plants here, any standard one is more than fine.

Yes but I try to provide optimum conditions for my mushrooms, and a 6400K light is more optimum than a 2700K light.

you can get 6400K lights for that price. Just make sure it says white light.

If you're gonna order subs online just go with spawn bags. Spawn bags rule.
