I randomly clicked on a time and it said "These attributes of Horus, WHETHER ORIGINAL OR NOT, seem to go together with other." Im fairly certain that the accuracy of the information is somewhat important.

You have to be sure to check this guys sources. Zeitgiest has been debunked, at least the religion part, many a times.

I must be so lame,
I really thought Jesus wasn't original
that the banks supported war
and that Bush was in on the whole fear thing.

I guess I have some reading to do.

First, this:

http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/military_law/3491861.html

Then you should read everything you can about Gerald Massey, which is where the bulk of the Jesus info comes from. And get info from both sides and you decide what to think.

About the money issue there are a lot of books man... It is hard to know what is true and what is bullshit when it comes to money because everyone has something to gain or to lose. So I will just say don't trust what anyone says about money, including zeitgeist.

there is a lot of vigor in these conversations, I just thought the movie was interesting, and I am certain the banks are not interested in what we are interested in.

point by point I can see them dismantling the myths about dismantling the myths, but not exactly restructuring the story in a credible fashion.

Might you consider that Popular Mechanics could be the part of the war machine that gets kids fired up about war planes, tanks and guns and other military glamor - i.e. the soft porn of war media.

anyway I don't take the zeitgeist movie verbatim, but it is an eye opener about the power of media, and banks.
and a good twist on reading history.

i only buy pop mechanics if I want to feel ripped off.

You are getting into some pretty depressing territory. If you can stomach it I would also recommend Manufacturing Consent by Chomsky, if you can stomach it. But why would you want to go down that path?

The Pop Mechanics book (it's a book not a magazine) is great because it shows just how flimsy all of the 9/11 conspiracies are. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical too at first but the book seemed to hypnotize me... after reading it I would find large gaps in my memory where I had no Idea what I had done. I believe I have been mind controlled by Popular Mechanics they have taken all my money please help me I n---

Zeitgeist butchered the religion part.  Watch The Pharmacratic Inquisition, It is much more factual and well researched.  Its a 2 hour movie about how Jesus is just a mash together of other gods, including the sun god, as well as an embodiment of magic mushrooms (amanita actually).  Makes much more sense that "Jesus is the path to god within yourself" if he is an entheogen, which literally means awaking the divine within.  See the ayahuasca churches have it right, their sacrament instead of crackers and wine, is entheogenic.  People can actually have a conversation with god in church, that is how it is meant to be.  But if people could connect to god through nature, it voids the purpose of the church, so this information must be suppressed.

--------------------
"A human being is part of the whole, called by us 'Universe'; a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest -- a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.

This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and affection for a few persons nearest us.

Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty.

Nobody is able to achieve this completely but striving for such achievement is, in itself, a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security."

Albert Einstein

While I agree with many of the conclusions you posted I now know with certainty that everyone as an agenda and that most everyone fabricates to support their beliefs at times.

This is why most often these days I stay out of politics etc. I know what I can see and experience but to trust in the written word of strangers is risky. I have ended up with egg on my  face too many times. Let the world do it's convoluted thing. It will anyway. IMO the world of humanity is somewhat mad. It's not really as important as it seems at times. Your life is quite enough for heavy attention. You will have a chance to effect change if you so desire.

The world is not out of control.

Nor is it being controlled.

It is a fragmented idea that suggests any one group of exclusive individuals is running the show.

If one plays the cause and effect game with conspiracy theories (or anything for that matter), where do you end up? Regardless of affiliation with religion or politics, the interdependent nature of our world cannot be put on reins or puppet strings.

Control is an illusion.

I agree that control is an illusion.

But there is intent. I'm going to go out on a limb and believe that there are some people with resources who want to attempt to control things.

yah, but lot of money is spent on gunpowder, amunition, misinformation, lies, death, AND loss of personal constitutional freedoms -

it kind of adds up

there was a day that tapping phone lines was illegal.
and that being stripsearched at the airport, due to suspicion of terrorism, was unheard of.
and that the count of the vote produced a representative government.

we are getting to the point where war crimes at home are normal.

I have been searched scores of times over the last 7 years.
it is unnecessary and unconstitutional.

shock and awe I suppose?

Yup. It's those "attempts" at control that are so often dangerous for the rest of us.

hey;
I just had a further peak at the Pop Mechanics "debunkeroo" fo the conspiracies, and noted that on
http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/military_law/1227842.html?page=9
they declare that 300 experts were consulted and approximately 60 of those were pretty helpful in supporting their claims.

these compelling numbers suggest that 4 out of 5 experts were not sympathetic, or am I fanning cold embers.

I have never been convinced about the molten steel aspect from jet fuel and the near free fall speed of demolition from pancaking of floors.

the outfall from all of this is that if you wnat to build with steel in this day and age you have to fireproof it like crazy.
