aight i gotta foilpan with 2 cakes crumbled and cased with verm. i have it in my terrarium with perlite.......it's about45% covered on top and has only 2 pins growing.....and it's been like that for a few days now with out anymore progress or growth..what hapened..can it be helped

how long is a few days? What are your conditions in the terrarium (teop and RH)? How many times a day are you fanning? How much light is your casing getting? All of these need to be answered before you can get any answers

a few days is 4....theres a little ahbort.and a pin emerging from the side of the foil pan ...fanning 3 -4 time daily...............it's getting 8 hours of flourescent light a day.....my hydrogemeter broke

IMO a humidity gauge is not important anyway. In this case you may want to check it though. How are your temps? You may be fanning to often, eliminating your humidity. Fan once a day, see how that works.

I think your acuall flush is yet to come. Did them few shrooms already pin before you tryed to fruit the trays? Can you see hyphal knots forming all over you colonized casing layer?

4 starters, what are ya doin using perlite,  :confused: Use vermiculite, it retains it's moisture better.
And have you checked the cassing to see if its moist enough, is your humididy at the correct tempreture.
Ask your self all these question's. :grin: :grin: :grin:

Use vermiculite for what? I think he has perlite on the bottom of his terrarium to provide humidity, vermiculite would not do that, in fact it would do the opposite.
