I dont think there are many people who hunt for these on this site, mainly cube and PNW hunters it seems like
i think most people hunt gyms up in the northern states
i wonder what there full season is
it took several years for people to figure out weilii grew in the spring

Interesting. Documented in 2003.
I wonder if there are any in Michigan.

Out of curiosity. Do you know of a site where these are more of a topic? Being from P.A., previously devoid of mushrooms, I'm fairly interested in these.

this would probably be the one site where you can actually see discussions on rare species. That's my favorite part about the shroomery.

No, I love oviods. There all around in PA. I only found one specimen in the fall, and I didn't have my camera at the time so I couldn't get a picture of it. I found a lot in the spring though.
There is a few Mid-Atlantic hunters on this site.
I know Senor is a ovoid hunter when spring comes around. Besides gyms and the very hard to find Blue foot, that's pretty much all we have to hunt
That picture was with a cellphone. In the spring I'm going to take a lot of good pictures so others will have a good shot of finding them. They aren't very strong but their pretty abundant when you find a good patch.

If i ate 9 tiny weilii i would be barking at the moon, those little fuckers are powerful.
fresh weilii are insanely strong
i dont know why i thought ovoids were very strong, they look it but i guess looks can be deceiving.
i would like to hear others comments on these, not that i dont take your word for it im just curious

Agent 47 said: we ate the ovoids...we had 10 fresh grams... we each ate 5 grams and we got a nice body high for about 3 hours ...it was funny lol...but we left the "pluteus" there after seeing it didn't bruise and DEFINITELY didn't match what I was looking for just in size. after doing some basic research i found that this species seems to most fit Pluteus salicinus, because of the pink in the gills that we found. is this also a psychoactive mushroom? if so i might have to save it for next month haha
Haha. Here's my noob post from a while back. I guess I have switched up a lot of things in my head since then. I take 9 back, for some reason 9 just stuck in my head.

Ovoids in my opinion are as strong as cyans. A much better trip than cyans in my opinion. Cyans give me crazy anxiety on the come up, where as ovoids don't and ovoids also seem much more visual. Just my opinion though.
