Dubya is better....

2. Dubya is better than his Dad because he is so spiritual.
I just think this is a moot issue... even if it were true. It's like saying Mussolini is better than Hitler (sans the father/son relationship).
Actually... this is just a test.... hehehe

If you consider selling your soul for power to be spiritual, he is spiritual. But aren't they all?

I don't know if it's that every Bush clip I see, I see on the Daily Show... but is Dubya getting dumber an dumber? I mean, every time he says something, i can see the absense of any leadership, wisdom, and "compassionitivity" behind his eyes.... "embetterment?" wtf? "there's a saying in tennesee, well i know it's in texas, it's probably in Tennessee as well, that goes : Fool me once..... Shame on you... ... . . . . . . . . . if fooled ya can't get fooled again." what's even worse than farking Bush, is the fact that he represents the country, he represents me Internationally, and all the other obese whores in this country. he's being (or told to be) such a fucking asshole to the rest of the world. How wonderful that we have such a caring president that is not caught up in the thirst for power or money. Someone who would never kill for profit or more oil. God Bless the USA.... ahh i'm feeling so optimistic and positive today.
can't you just feel the warm sunny TERRIBLE RAGE AND DISGUST for our beloved governing leaders eminating from these words.

Yes...I like it. His idocy is one of the main weapons of misdirection of this administration. Here is what George W. Bush really represents. ------------------------ *********** "CAMP X-RAY" DETAINEES - Al Qaeda/Taliban troops. Penned in 24/7.
************ "AMERICAN TALIBAN" John Walker Lindh under captivity. For some strange reason, Walker's lawyers allege this was inhumane treatment.

Yes it is... it's a national disgrace. John Walker Lindh is probably just some unfortunate californian who was travelling in afghanistan to get high...

are you saying they should be allowed out for the weekends?
don't get me wrong, I think the American government is corrupt and all... but how are you supposed to treat people who are willing to kill and die for their cause?
day release? rehabilitate them back into the community? slap on the wrist? make them promise they will never be naughty again?
My own opinion is that the afghan's fighting the northern alliance should be considered prisoners of war. Anyone else who went to the country knew the game they were playing...

...and to be trained by a harmless terrorist organization to use deadly weapons for the express purpose of killing people... and to grow a beard (they grow better in that climate I've heard)...

Er, Remember we are the ones about to bomb what's left of Iraq to the ground, for our "cause". Exactly what that cause is, is yet to be determined by the media. I wouldn't be suprised if Dubya himself has 'killed' more people as governor of Texas than any one of those Taliban fighters has in battle. I can offer no alternative ways to treat these prisoners, I have no sympathy for them...they chose this. I just thought these images were pretty powerful statements about our country at this moment in history. Remember, JWD was still born an American. If an American (ie: FREE person) can end up like that, then America(FREE nation) itself, was a myth to begin with! But I digress.......

Is there some other purpose deadly weapons are being used for?

I have no idea whether there is some sinister agenda to it all.
I do know that I don't think Iraq can be trusted with weapons of mass destruction.
As it happens, I think we should make Israel obey U.N. resolutions at the same time... but American politics is awash with Jewish money. I have no problem with Jews at all but this is just the truth (as I see it)

True indeed... but in this case, I think speculating makes for more interesting arguments. I really don't care what he did or didn't do to end up like that, the point is that if the Bush administration decides you're a terrorist, that could be you.

but how are you supposed to treat people who are willing to kill and die for their cause?
What you just defined is a Martyr - One who makes great sacrifices or suffers much in order to further a belief, cause, or principle.
Taliban = Martyrs?
I personally think that if Mr. Walker wants to get away from a really fucked up government like the United States of America....more power to him. He had the balls to do this, when so many people only talk about. Whether his decision of joining the "taliban" was a wise choice or not... Besides, did they ever find out if he was shooting at the American troops?

I think the charge of "treason" is bullshit.
The founding fathers of America were commiting "treasonous" actions by rebelling against the British government. Our country is founded on rebellion. If someone doesn't want to be a part of the U.S., I think they should have the choice to join whoever the fuck they want.
They should be held accountable for actions they commit against other human beings, like anyone else... but to charge someone with treason for the act of joining the Taliban is ridiculous.
