Can jars dry out?

doesnt water slowly evaoprate thru the tiny openings in the jar or under the foil cover? my verm absorbs the water though, but doesnt that get released slowly? I noticed more growth today :smile:

its now puffy and white and along the top. in that area the verm is packed so looks like the mycellum seems to be having trouble penetrating that :frown:

I didnt pack it, the verm was just small and the wwf filled the gaps in some areas. I only see growth in 2 jars so far, alot in A+ and a tiny bit in D. will it grow expotentionally or linearly?

Yes, your jars can dry out depending on how you are incubating them. Doing something like placing them directly on a heating source will dry out the bottoms of jars. I think it would be hard for the whole jar to dry out, though I suppose it is possible.
