Fidgeting

Whenever I sit down or even when I'm lying down trying to sleep, I can't help but bounce my legs around, or tap out beats with my hand or teeth... gah.. i like to think its the rhythm in my veins, but it really gets annoying.. is this related to some form of anxiety?

is there any way of controlled thought to stop it?

This may be totally unrelated, but some pyschedelics, most notably acid, can lead to excessive teeth-grinding, even long after the trip is over.

ha, im the same way, my friends hate when i bounce my leg.
i think its just nervous energy

I do this sometimes when I have excess energy that I can't vent constructively at that moment. I try to put the energy to good work as often as possible, like making up songs in my head or tapping out a rhythm I'd like to include in a song on a table with my finger nails

i am the same way. i must always be moving. Whether that be, my leg tapping, or my fingers tapping. I'll usually tap in beats because...well...why wouldnt you?  :grin:

Hehe, yeah no kidding

a lot of the time i feel in my body the strong urge to bust out into a tribal dance, i *know* all these moves and i've never taken a dance class in my life, the only reason i don't is coz i still have *restraint* conditioned in me :tongue:
