after having terrible success picking shrooms I bought a quarter of an old friend on mine. he said they were from oregon but they are FAT and have some blue staining at the bast. anyone know what they are and where is the list of what kind of shrooms and pics are in oregon.... thanks

Staining blue is good.  Fat shrooms.. could be strain specific even.  Are they cubensis?  Light brown to golden colored caps, sometimes a deep rich red?  There are cubies up in Oregon for sure.. but maybe they were homegrown in Oregon?

i know i mentioned this shit somewhere.
how can so many self-taught, street-wise kids insist that cubensis grows in oregon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????
i run into this ALL THE TIME.
why?
what mush do they think is a cube? in the "WILD"?
please help me.
i grew up in louisiana, i know my cubensis. but i also know my shit in oregon fairly well. i would love to go get some cubies around oregon......
anyone? should i trust ONLY the mycologists, or the dealer types?

Cubensis does not grow wild in Oregon, it is a sub-tropical climated species. Oregon is definatly not a sub-tropic climate. You're thinking of Cyans, not Cubes. Cyans are better dude.. I wouldn't trade Cyans for Cubes any day.

-maybe they were cubes that were cultivated, and then somewhere along the way 'oregon' was added into the story to spice up your interest in buying them.
