What's the biggest (dry weight) yield you guys have ever seen off a grow?

Counting 1st, second, third flushes?
Searching through some of the archives, the biggest I've seen here was around 8 oz?
You guys seen any monster grows that dwarf that? If so, what type of strain and method was used?

8 OZ is huge for cakes in my experience...Well, I guess it depends on how many cakes he had. My biggest was about...3 OZ??? Somewhere in there with cakes. With casings I have gone a little over that, but I don't do anything real big either.

What do you mean by "a grow"??
Are you considering single cakes or substrate blocks? Someone could have an outdoor grow and grow pounds upon pounds. Cubensis are as easy if not easier to grow then most commercial mushrooms. I'm sure the largest single harvest would never be put onto the internet.
Now if you talking about biological efficiency... a ratio of dry substrate to wet weight (why wet weight I dunno, cause the commercial industry doesn't dry often I guess.) That's more useful as quantifiable results to examine growing techniques.

Yea, I could set up a room, or use the outdoors to cultivate pounds...You have to give us some kind of number. 10 cakes?? 40 cakes?? 1 tray?? 5 trays??

Either way... Aren't most mushroom farms indoors.. at least what I've seen.
My point is is. The limit is up the the work put in. If you want to evaluate growing techniques you need to look at how much substrate was used and how much mushroom mater resulted.
Biological efficiency is Weight of dry substrate/wet cubensis.
For personal records I'd use dry weight myself. It achieves the same purpose except perhaps more useful for growers who dry their mushrooms.
Hey P.Menace,
Glad to have you on board... Let's have a drinking contest.. I'll stupid you under the table.. lol!

You gotta narrow things down a bit and ask specifics. There are many different shroomerites here, who use many different methods. 3-4 cakes, 3-4 casings, 3-4 bags are not going to be anywhere close to each other, and if you say 3-4 monotubs...well hell that could be in the 1 lbs+ per flush dried range.

That is freakin unreal bro.
I think I was thinking smaller levels, but I see what you fellas are talking about. It can literally have a billion variables and intangibles. Musher's comment about amount of work put in determining limit certainly rings true. You are like a mushroom army creator, P. Menace. lol
