Pain and harm are not the same thing.  Check the definition.

A little bit of a false dichotomy ehh?

I prefer to have a beneficial relationship with most people I encounter. However some people bring out the worst in me and I revel in creating conflicts with them.  :fishsmack:

So if I can inflict as much pain as I can without leaving lasting physical or psychological damage, I can still be considered a good person?

If you were able to refrain from harming, you could be considered non-harming. BTW, the damage does not have to be lasting to constitute harm (check the definition). A life of intentionally inflicting pain sounds fairly worthless and unpleasant to me, though.

It's attractive. But, what evil does is try and convince others that it has an exclusive contract. Sensations up and down the spine? White light flashing? Who says that's evil? Could be good.

Releasing their new album exclusively at Walmart? Yea, that's fuckin' evil.:mad2:

Almost makes me want to download it off the net. No, no, I would just be falling into their trap.

They have designed their distribution system so that only the truly evil may hear the album. May God help their souls.

I generally don't pick up new albums of groups that have been around for longer than twenty years.  IMO most of their creative sparks were used up by their third or fourth album.

To be honest my personal view on Good vs Evil is that Evil is destructive, chaotic whereas Good in constructive, ordered. For example one of my goals is to destroy this planet, I consider that to be Evil, but I don't want to cause pain for anybody nor do I enjoy inflicting pain.

Ironically, I used to have fantasies as a small child of unleashing a biological plague upon Earth, or nuking every life form while cackling in sadistic glee.

Dunno what that says about my moral health, really.

I think I am good because I follow the word of Jesus Christ and I believe that he is my lord and savior. Pagans are evil in my opinion. But it is your choice to be evil I guess.

Dunno; you seem to have pulled off the evil part pretty well, what with the Inquisition and the Crusades.

Well...I think God would of approved of that stuff.

Yea, true, but there's just so few good bands doing evil these days.

I didn't. My dream of planetary destruction came long after childhood. The more I learned about our society and, parallel to that, natural ecosystems, the stronger was my revulsion and desire to destroy them.

But I don't think I would act unless I knew I would be wiping out our entire planet.
