I personally think it's unwise. I'd hate to have to deal with knowing that I fucked up my dog by feeding it shrooms.

I was once told that dark chocolate (not milk) is dangerous to dogs, but whether theres any truth in this i dont know and dont want to find out first hand.
seriously though, you dont deserve to have a wonderful companion like a dog if youre considering making it trip. thats evil. the dog doesnt know whats going and you have no idea about a dogs chemical make-up etc.
why would you want to do it anyway? how you could even consider putting a dog through that is beyond me.

Actually all chocolate is bad for dogs.
And as far as feeding your dog shrooms that`s just stupid.
Have you ever actually sat with your animals when you`ve ingested some shrooms??
If you have you`ll quickly realise how in touch animals are to the ethereal realm.
My one dog stares at me constantly during my trips.
She watches me with her ears pointed and always looks motherly.
And normally she doesn`t care.
My friends cat who we always have around when we trip, she guards us and plays with us when we're tripping, and normally only when we're tripping.
I don`t think I need to explain further, if you`ve experienced this you`ll know what I mean.
In short, don`t be a dumb fuck.

ive seen a cat on a hit of paper.
THe damn thing WOULD NOT STOP MEOWING. It ran around a lot too. It didnt seam that fucked up. The lsd was kinda weak too. I needed 4 for a decent trip.
I was against giving the cat a hit and i dont think you should give animalys psychadleics.
Some dogs like marijuana smoke tho. Boots, my friends dog like marijuana.

DERRAYLD I completely agree with you. When I tripped a few weeks ago at my friends house. My friends Pitbull (who i've known since he was a puppy) was following me around the whole night and he wouldn't leave me alone. With this dog that is completely abnormal he'll usually just lay at my feet or just look up when I went to walk around. Giving shrooms to dogs would be extremely wrong and potentially extremely dangerous.

Hmm yea i was wondering about this very subject... i feel its not good... i feel if they want to take mushrooms they would eat them while your not looking (like cats do to your weed crop).... HOWEVER! I feel that some pets do have a lotta fun on drugs. like cats to catnip, they love it and cant get enough of it lol... I have witnessed a cat on acid, and he was FLIPPING OUT! and thats why i think that acid and shrooms arent a good idea...

Listen, I am going to have to agree with everyone else. Giving Mushrooms to your dog is not a good idea. A couple years back a friend of mine came over and we bought a couple six packs for the night. I quietly sat and drank my Miller Lite on the back porch when my dog came up to me and began to whine because he wanted me to play fetch with him. He caught a whiff of the beer and dropped the ball and started to beg for some. I was drinking my last beer, and my friend started saying that I should give the dog some if he wants it. So, being as thoughtless at that moment as I was, I grabbed my friend's last Budweiser and poured the whole bottle in my dog's water dish. He quickly drank every last drop of it. About five minutes later he started to stumble around and came over and just collapsed in my lap. I felt so bad for him, because my dog is one of my best pals that I've got. I never did it again. If one beer makes a dog feel bad and confused, can you just imagine what mushrooms would do to them? I seriously protest giving dogs anything like that at all. Someone else stated here that they are already in tune with supernatural things and stuff we cannot seem to sense. I agree with that as well. No need to make an innocent pet suffer.

not only would it be wrong to do tha to the dog, like everybody here is saying, but think about your own safety too. what if it does make the dog trip? what if the dog has a bad trip? what if the dog has such a bad trip that he fails to recognize you and starts to get voilent? unless you have something the size of a toy poodle, you could get seriously hurt...ESPECIALLY if you are trippin' too, and don't know how to handle the dog attacking you.

OK here is the thing....Im not gonna really give my dog any drugs, i just wondered what would happen or if anyone did it before... my dog is the shit i wouldnt risk my dogs life for some shrooms that i could have ate. I have never tripped out with my dog though, meaning me tripping with him around. i want to try that and stuff though. Sorry deeds for the little uh whatever you wanna call it.

my dog loves to smoke pot... when i take it out of the bag and start to break it up he will try to jump on the table in anxiety... he will eat it if i let him... but he seems to love being stoned. his heart rate is normal. he plays like he did when he was a pup and it gets rid of his hip displacia pains because he runs and jumps alround all night without falling or worrying about pain. eheh

Most of them say don't do it. But i say why not? Sheep and cows and other animals can handle it. So why not dogs? The worst thing that could happen is, the dog goes nuts and kills you.
So feeling sorry for giving him the stuff would not apply, since he killed you.

this has hapened to a friend of mine as welll my dumb fucknig mut friend... wus unraveling chocolate shrooms and the big niger dog jumped up and ate it... we were all on shrooms fuck up so we got scared n jus ran outa the house n never even thaught of making sure the dog was okay...
6 hours later we jus recieve news the dog is jus chilln alive at home thats good news ! i wonder how his night was

This happened to me almost 20 years ago. I made a sandwich with peanutbutter and shrooms. Left the room for a second and when i came back my dog ate most of the sandwich. I started freaking out but it turned out ok. First he started walking nonstop in circles around the table, then he started eating and drinking like crazy and the he just chilled for the rest of the evening. He didn't panic or acted scared, he was barely different than normal.

Must have been really terrible for the dog. I’ll tell you why I say that; I have two labradors, and when I trip they can react in so many different ways. I’ve thought about the reasons, and reckon it is something to do with the type of trip I’m having or the strength of trip. For example, one trip I was having a really rough come up. So I did what you do, I sat lotus position in front of the fire with a blanket wrapped around me. Next thing Sky is by my side, least against me, and Max is led next to me with his paws across my thighs. That stands out because normally when “pack leader” is sitting on the floor, it means play time.
Dogs are super sensitive to the energy we give off when tripping, they must be equally sensitive to the effects of psilocin. But with no intellectual way of knowing what the fuck is happening to them. It’s fascinating though because there are many examples of different animals seeking out different psychoactive compounds in nature, I wonder if the mushrooms were left out, the dog would eat them again?
