This happened to me almost 20 years ago. I made a sandwich with peanutbutter and shrooms. Left the room for a second and when i came back my dog ate most of the sandwich. I started freaking out but it turned out ok. First he started walking nonstop in circles around the table, then he started eating and drinking like crazy and the he just chilled for the rest of the evening. He didn't panic or acted scared, he was  barely different than normal.

Must have been really terrible for the dog. I’ll tell you why I say that; I have two labradors, and when I trip they can react in so many different ways. I’ve thought about the reasons, and reckon it is something to do with the type of trip I’m having or the strength of trip. For example, one trip I was having a really rough come up. So I did what you do, I sat lotus position in front of the fire with a blanket wrapped around me. Next thing Sky is by my side, least against me, and Max is led next to me with his paws across my thighs. That stands out because normally when “pack leader” is sitting on the floor, it means play time.

Dogs are super sensitive to the energy we give off when tripping, they must be equally sensitive to the effects of psilocin. But with no intellectual way of knowing what the fuck is happening to them. It’s fascinating though because there are many examples of different animals seeking out different psychoactive compounds in nature, I wonder if the mushrooms were left out, the dog would eat them again?
