This is no secret, but I have yet to see a better price for grains than I have found at Azure Standard.
IF you are fortunate to be in an area that they serve, then check them out.
$20 for 50 lbs (!) of rye berries. I pay more than that for the Pennington's birdseed.
I decided to have some fun, and bought a 50 lb bag of wheat and 5 lb bags buckwheat and sorghum (the "milo" in bird seed)
Take care,
JD

Good news CC!
I have had to consider finding a way to work these grains into my diet somehow. So much healthy food for the money.
I have 210 lbs of grains coming in, for about $100.
Take care,
JD

Was gonna asdd that Amazon has the best deal on grain going I have found.(everything local is OUTRAGEOUS and all other online options are much more) 50lb organic non GMO bags for $41 US. If you have Amazon Prime you can start a regular delivery subscription and the KICKER is that you get FREE SHIPPING. That's right, I got free shipping on 150lbs of grain brought in 3 days by UPS. The other site listed has 25lb bags for 14.99 but their shipping is INSANE, making Amazon the best option for me and where I live. Also I know this is a slightly older thread but all the links I tried still work and STILL ARE the best deals, at least the coir was. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004X8W29M/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
-------------------- Everything I have said, may say, will say, am thinking about saying and/or thinking/typing/dreaming/writing is in all likelyhood made up and has no factual basis in reality whatsoever, and is likely all plagiarized and copy pasted straight from someone else, so get mad at them . Just a warning

Just a reminder that direct links to items that our sponsors also sell are prohibited. I'll leave the current links in place since most are dead anyway, but for future posts just tell everyone where to get the deal without providing a direct link to the item.
Thanks!

Reviving this thread because deals are great. Best source of oats if you have a tractor supply near you. They usually can order for you. Anyone know of great sources of clear-lidded 66qt tubs? The only thing that seems close and is affordable is Ikea's Samla tubs: http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/producers-pride-oats-50-lb?cm_vc=-10005
