pinning....

well its been longer than a week since i birthed, and i have noticed recently some small white dots, kinda of ball looking, on the top of one cake. there was some verm still stuck to it and now its being colonized by some fluffy white stuff. i was just wondering what those white dots are? are they primordia or pins or what?

The very small white dots could very well be hyphal knots which eventually develop into pins....give them 24 hrs or so and see if they start looking a bit more like a mushroom.
