I use a program called Wavelab, it's more for audio editing and mastering but it can rip and write mp3s also...

It's not cheap, but the file is small (wink wink)
You could probably find something simpler to suit your purpose though.

i've only used the pre-pro versions of cool edit, so i couldn't tell ya...

it has the best joint stereo encoding available...
it can also read cd-text from cd...
i have never had to manually enter cd information..
compatible with tons of cdrw drives...

I bought ( :wink: :wink: ) a copy of wavelab, it's similar to cool edit, but 100 times better  :cool:
