suggestion to build a big incubator

hy!
at first, sorry for my english...
I'm going to build a very very big incubator to keep the right temp. (about 79?-83? F,--> 26?-28? C), so I have built a box (70cm X 1mt, h:50cm) of wood panelled by polystyrene.
The resistence-coil (15 W) is in a tin full of water and the fan allows air to flow to keep heat uniform. Coil is a fish tank heater.
My friend grows Pan. Cyanescens so humidity isn't much important, so air could be changed by opening the box two times during the day. There aren't filters because substrate is made by pasteurized straw/dung/vermic. so it should be more resistent to contams.
I think the way I want to warm the box isn't much efficacious because coil is only 15 W (or 20 W) so water in the tin should become very very hot to reach the right temp in the box, because it is too big!! If I put in a heater for the room (500-1000 W at least) it's too hot, and could be also dangerous.
I've seen also other teks to build an incubator (aliens incubator), but they are only for jars, I need an incubator to put my containers.

When I put only 4-5 jars I want to restrict area using another panel so it's more easy to warm, but when i leave to colonize the substrate in the container i have to use all the box.
Thermostat isn't near the coil.

ok. I'm going to buy a 80 W coil (27 euro). I hope it will be ok to heat my big incubator.

80W is a lot. i brew beer and have a 25W heating pad it can keep 50litres of beer at 33C in an ambient room (shed) temp of 8C
