Do any strains of P. cubensis seem more potent than others when fresh and/or dried?

Hi all.
I was wondering if any strains of cubensis or "cubes" as theyve been dubbed, seem stronger than others.
For instance Cambodians, Hawaiians, Golden Teacher, B+, etc...?
Thanks!

Potency is genetic related so no, a cube is a cube is a cube they're all suppose to contain 0.01% of psilocybin per a dry ed gram.
I was growing out South American for awhile way back when on pf cakes using brf then I started experimenting by spawning it to manure/straw I was never happy with the potency then I started mixing in rye flour/wbs flour/millet flour/dextrose and noticed a major difference in the following trips off 1gram.
Also, ever since I read RR's thread on using diluted coffee in the soak water that I can honestly say that I've never heard or had any complaints about potency and somewhere I read that the nitrogen that coffee grounds/water add can play a major factor in the strength of the psilocybin. By all means I believe it, just my two cents.

Ive grown probably 20 different strains and Ive had some that have very little to no potency and other that were fine. I will have to say that Penis Envy is by far the most potent strain I've grown. Out of the 20 or so strains Ive grown I usually take 3.5 grams and have a real nice trip. With my first PE grow I ate 1.2 grams not expecting much and had the most intense trip of my life.

This thread has been closed.
Reason: Strain thread topic.
Strain is irrelevant. New growers who grow one 'strain' and it's good, and another 'strain' and it's bunk, incorrectly assume that the name on the syringe had something to do with it. The fact is, with multispore inoculation, every grow, and nearly every mushroom has a different potency, regardless of the name on the syringe. Cubes are cubes. If you want a potent strain grow after grow, learn strain isolation and storage on master culture slants. RR
