I just recently met a supplier in this city that is offering those exact compressed bricks of coir for $30, supposedly they make up to a garbage full of coir once expanded.

yeah i wouldnt buy the big bale especially because it would take up a lot of space and is expensive. Im glad I found this site, decent prices and now i dont have to leave my house to search for larger bricks now. those little guys from petsmart just dont cut it. plus you get more for your money this way. i just saved gas money also.

No valid shipping methods are available for your order. You will be contacted regarding shipping when your order is processed.

this is what it said while placing my order. so it didnt give me shipping price. I paid for the 2 mini bales though. Im guessing ill get an email with the shipping cost. Im guessing they will get an exact quote. im guessing 10-15 bucks??? they are in canada and im in the US. It cant be too much. either way im sure its still worth it for the amount of coir u get compared to the little bricks. ill let you guys know when I find out for sure.

If I remember correctly, this place is in Canada so shipping will probably be pretty damn high going to the U.S.

So it is about $24 shipped for that compressed huge cube. It will make the equivalent of 7 or so zoo med bricks so really if you buy the 3 packs at the pet store at 11.99 like at petco, they cost nearly the same per brick. I canceled my order.

yeah but do the math. your paying CANADIAN prices. so 24 bucks just turned into 20

plus i got 2 of the big bricks for 35.06 American

my total was $42.00 CANADIAN.

thats about 14 regular bricks for $2.50 a brick (american  money)

i just bought that yesterday at my local pet store
it was like 9 bucks
yea you can get bad coir but its rare like for instance
the link you posted the fibers are too big(long)you want the texture more like dirt not like hair(if that makes any since)
or if you get husks and not coir husks are big chunks and the myc has a hard time colonizing it it will work but takes forever

so the eco stuff is good stuff then? thats what your saying? Thats a pretty good deal on that shit from the link the other guy posted. just curious about shipping charges. my guess to make it worth it i would have to order about 5 or more of those 3 packs.

it tells you at checkout that you can add so much more $$$ worth of products to your order before the shipping price goes up. yeah i wont need 108 bricks but even at 1.56 a brick that isnt bad at all!

who needs advice??

Also since we are on the round of finding cheap prices anyone have a cheaper price for micopore tape than this http://www.woundcareshop.com/whitemicroporetape.aspx I am looking at the 2" x 10' 6 pack for $12.29 in town that would cost me over twenty.
