Dont bother trying to learn how to grow in only two months, and expect a yeild that will last 8-10 months; although I dont exactly know how often you plan to dose, but even one batch for me wouldnt last that long. Why wont you be able to grow for 8-10 months, anyways?

Thanks for the input.... I have a FOAF who grew his first batch in just under 2 months so I think it is possible. No, what I understand to be a typical harvest would not last me 8-10 months, which is why I need to get as large a harvest as I possibly can. As for reasons behind not being able to grow.... Living arrangements are about to change and it's not that I absolutely could not grow. It's more like my fiance has asked me not to while her parents are staying with us. I guess I understand.lol

Actually if you only 2 months, why dont you grow 12-24 cakes. Than crumble 3 cakes in a tray and case. This will give a very good harvest and when you have to stop growing, you can plant it outside as a mushroom patch for future fruitings, without much care.Later, tweedy.

Thanks Tweedy.... Basically that's what i was wondering.... if it was just as easy to use a cake method and then case or if there was another method that had an increased yield over the same time frame... i already have 12 jars, what are some good substitutes for the jars?
