its not my house i rent.
i don't know, once i started thinking about it i realized my walls probably have no insulation either...

you could always try and make it your landlords problem, might be able to get new windows or something out of it if they do leak, don't think you'll get new walls tho :bottledup:

one thing you could do tho is to get a electric heater and just have that follow you around the house and don't try and heat the whole house.

or you could buy an electric blanket and make a suit out of it with a really long extention cord.  your own little enviromental suit!  or you could paint yourself with sawdust glue and then bath in oyster spores

Having the fan blow toward the floor will not bring the warm air down. It stays at the ceiling.

Only by turning the fan direction upwards will you force the warm air towards the floor.
