technically thats 1. Same batch of LC just before and after PC before on the left After on the right.
those are not just honey or Karo tho. they contain a little of everything recommended for LC use at a sugar ratio of 1-2% no more

I used 3% honey buy volume it was 400ml to 12ml's of honey.. So I should back it down to 400 and 8 then for the 2% sugar content..

When I made my LC I used this recipe... http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/6703837#6703837
1 Quart of water 1 tablespoon light malt 1 tablespoon dextrose
I brought the water to a simmer then added in the malt/dextrose. Stired it well then allowed to simmer for another good 5-6 min. After that I poured it over 2 coffee filters to get sediments out, then PC'd at 14 psi for 15 min. I had a ton of sugar sediment. Same as when I did honey. And that was Agar's recipe...

The only problem though is finding light malt and dextrose locally I would have to order it of the internet.. I have looked every where for a brewers shop and the nearest one is over 2 hours away

I can't see why you'd need to filter unless you're using a very organic honey with bits in. I use the cheapest available non-organic stuff (something about only 50% real honey on the label). I pour 100ml of water from the kettle over 1 teaspoon of honey (around 5% per volume) and mix it in. I bring the PC water to the boil with the LC jar in there, then PC for 20 mins. It's a pale yellow before and after. When the mycelium has finished growing it becomes clear.
