Yes, they are all cultivated specimens. You can see each one in more detail at my site. The link below will place you directly on the species profile page. The semilanceata page will be updated soon with more pictures of the cultivated patch and the method of construction.

For real, let's get some bioluminescent psychedelics!
All we have to do is take some shroom DNA, some restriction endonucleases, and the DNA sequence that codes for the enzymes or whatever shit that makes shrooms glow.

Just cleave the shroom DNA at a certain site with the restriction enzymes (Hind III maybe?), throw in the insert DNA sequence, and ligate the new DNA to the old DNA. Now just insert the new DNA into a monokaryotic shroom cell. Voil?! We have just created a glow-in-the-dark species of psychedelic mushrooms. Now we mass produce them and scatter the spores about the world. No longer will the shroomer have to carry a flashlight into Farmer Bob's field! Woo hoo!

Of course, I left out alot of steps, but this is not an impossible task, in fact, this is just simple genetic engineering man. If I had the proper equipment, I could make some glow-in-the-dark psilocybes. This could be done to EVERY species of psychedelic mushroom. It'd be tight. And, no, I'm not bullshitting around, this is VERY possible. If there was enough capital invested in the proper equipment, you could easily monopolize the shroom spore market. (That last line was for the entrepreneurs)

So, go out and get yourself a genetics book and read up on your genetics.

Looking at those azures made my mouth water. I had a dream last night I found a patch of those... that stretched to the horizon... yes, a good dream.
