so if my buddie had some colonized popcorn He could just order a 10lb bag of prepasturized horse crap from "were the shit" to use as a substrate in a monotub right? What would the ratio be? Is there anything that would have to be done besides basic hygene for the grow? So its clean everything, put poo in, clean everything, put colonized corn crumbled and mixed into poo, clean everything, and dont peek right? Granted this is a really basic rundown of the procedure....anything else he needs to know?

First, decide if you want to transfer some of the colonized corn, to a few jars of sterilized corn (grain to grain transfer) Nothing fancy. The answer should be yes unless you have some already done.
Using 3rd grade math skills, measure up the amount of poo you want so that it equals a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio of colonized corn spawn. I say 1:3 for corn, because it's bigger than millet and will take longer to colonize the poo. Millet(wbs) or rye is good at 1:4.
Dump the pasteurized poo into the tub. Shake the corn jars up to get it all lose. Dump the amount of corn necessary, mix well with cleaned hands. Let it colonize. Fruit it. You can case it if you want, but don't need to.
Next you have to.....Get really high.

does that ratio stand for 1 quart to 1 gallon or 1gallon to 1 gallon?

1:3 = One part spawn to 3 parts hpoo
1:3 = One quart to Three Quarts
Understand?

gotcha...thanks! So if he were to order the prepasturized poo from were the shit it comes in a 10 lb unit. Approx how much corn (in quarts) would be needed in total to utilize all that poo? hes just trying to get it all right the first time. He knows that some of these questions are dumb but he has a problem with overthinking things. But the over thinking worked out great for all his brf grows! Hes gotta go shopping later for some good tubs so im pretty sure he'll be asking more questions later.
