Can i case or should i be patient?

So 1 week ago i mage a 4 quart plastic tray of 50/50 cow shit/straw and i mixed it with some spawn. Pasteurized and brought to proper PH and all that. The thing is that some of the cow poo didnt fully colonized due to its consistency and me being a lil lazy and not properly grinding all of it. Now i can see through the tray walls and in a few spots there are like half a square inch pieces that are still brown near all that white. This goes for the surface too altho there are only 2 small spots. Now my question is will these ever fully colonize or should i just case it and hope this will help with colonization. I always use a 1/5 1/6 inch of potting soil nuked and moistened to case btw as i have no access to verm . Thanks in advance and sorry for the lack of pics.

I'd wait to case them til never .
Just fruit them when they're colonized . Your sub will contain plenty of water for them to grow .

Is there a lot of metabolites (myc piss) around those uncolonized areas? They could be infected with bacteria and will then likely never colonize. You could give it a few more days but if more growth doesn't occur it will likely never colonize. You could try fruiting it but those areas are going to be open for mold contamination. Toss it out as soon as you see any mold growth as to avoid filling your FC with spores.

thanks for advices but i really dont have a fruiting chamber...the trays are not that big and i keep humidity/fae by the good ole fan/mist the tent. On another note i will give it more days altho i doubt mold will occur since its only been a week and shit is supposed to be resistant to this sort of stuff

What's resistant? Cow manure? No. Staw? No.
Give it ten days and then expose to fruiting conditions. Sometimes the 'clods' of manure don't colonize because they're too tight. I'd do as HC suggested and skip the casing layer. It isn't necessary with bulk substrates. RR
