best substrate for OI?

hi all i just got the OI strain and i was wondering what was the best substrate to grow them in?
are the like all other cubes as will they grow in straw,coir,hpoo or a mix?
also is it best to use grain(if so what type?)or the pf tek
any sugestions would be great

i read grain is best 4 these.Thats the strain i'm working with now,I'm using wbs spawned 2 hpoo/straw.

to be honest bro,  i used pf tek cakes and spawned to coir.  i did not like the yeild.

what you gotta do is get a spawn bag, with some grain.  knock that up,  then you can either grow them in there,  or dump out the bag when its done and cover with some verm or whatever and get MASSIVE results

i dont have bags could i just use a bunch of QT jars?
them spawn them i have heard grain doesnt do too well as is
you have to mix it with something that has more nutes like coir or poo

so you plan on spawning to coir?? I take it your talking about horse poo?? If your using actual poo (like off the ground) you will need to pasteurize it before you use it.

i have about 50+ pounds of poo that has been sitting in a field all summer
and YES i plan to pasturize it before use
i was wondering if i could just spawn to poo or coir or both mixed

i have hpoo that has been in a field ALL summer when i pick it up and squeeze it the poo crumbles in my hand
it also smells like grass so i know its leached properly

I am going to be innoculating rye grain jars with OI, and spawning to composted horse manure via two giggity size mono-tubs. I would think bulk would be the way to go with these, and mono-tubness because I am lazy, and the giggity sized tubs to give this monster strain some growing room to encourage pre-mature ejaculation when I open the lid.
