Okay, so, I'm buying these and a couple spore syringes and I was wondering if you had any tips for someone who has no prior experience to growing.

Substrate has nothing to do with potency.
Personally, I always recommend folks new to growing start with PF Tek, then learn to do their own grain. You could take the $23 you're spending on six jars of WBS and put half of that towards your first small-scale pressure cooker to sterilize your own grains.
With all the information here on the Shroomery, buying pre-made and pre-sterilized substrate is more of a luxury than a necessity. Having to learn how to pasteurize substrate and sterilize grain, and why we do it, has definitely given me a much better understanding of the science behind it all.
Last bit of advice:
Patience.

You do realize that for the price of one jar of wbs from that site, you can purchase a 8 qt pc from wal-mart and do however many jars you want?
He's just trying to sell you pc'd wbs...... even then there's no garuntee of it's sterility compaired to doing it yourself. What an epic waste of money if you buy it. You can get pounds of wbs for $23.00. instead of a measily jar.
Lazy good for nothing hippy selling that shit

I actually have a pressure cooker, but I feel that it may be overwhelming making my own substrate jar(s).

Prepairing your own jars requires 3rd grade math skills............. no joke.
Soak the wbs, popcorn w/e overnight. Rinse it. Strain it for an hour. Pressure cook it. That's pretty simple.

Well then, I guess I won't order the pre-sterilized substrate jars then.
I'm looking up the videos now, and basically just hoping I don't fail miserably, lol.

You might fail. You might not. Either way you'll learn what to do or what not to do for the next time.

It's really not overwhelming. These links (for the PF-Tek method), along with the videos provided above, will give you easy and pretty much foolproof directions from the beginning of the process to the end. Creating jars with different a different substrate is also quite simple. The only tough part is the wait!
