inoculated 5 days ago -- contams!!!!!

Hey there, Ive inoculated 12 jars, 5 with rye, 3 with corn and 4 with wheat, to test which one works best with which strain (used B+, Cambo, GT and blue meanie). It was my first attempt at the grain tek. I succesfully did the pftek with zero contams. Never had a single contam in my growing history...
I soaked the grain for 24 hours, boiled it for 10 to 30 mins (depends on the type of grain used, corn took longer..) and then drained it for 30 mins. Then I PCed the jars for 90mins. Let it cool off over night, cleaned the whole place with anti-bacterial stuff, flame sterilized the needle, kept it in an alcohol cotton between inoc, etc. my jars have a single hole in the cap, with the white cotton stuff, then covered with micropore tape.
NOW! 5 days after innocs, 5 of my 12 jars shows signs of blue stuff in them... as well as some white mycel. My guess would be that I stuff my cap hole too thight and the air exchange is too low, causing excess humidity in the jar. What do you guys think?

you didnt prepare your substrate good enough before you pced it. simmering/heating it before it was placed in jars. RINSE/ SOAK for 24 hours/ Rinse again. Heat it up but not boiling. There is different ways to prepare each different sub. Rye is simmered for a believe 10 minutes. I havent done wheat or corn. I have chunks of corn in my WBS. I simmered it for 30 minutes. after I had already rinsed it a few times and soaked. Then I PCed in the jars for a hour. I did 24 jars no contams. They have polyfil and coffee filters. I used multispore, some of the jars are half colonized in 8 days. I havent shaken them yet.

not sterile enough to use a glovebox obviously. Though I must ask did you shake the grains dry (like RR does in his videos) or just drain them?

If you followed procedure like you said and you are seeing mold growth in every jar and PC'd 90 minutes AFTER the PC reached 15 psi..Your inoculant (spore syringe, LC, what have you) was probably contaminated.
You grain may also have been too wet but that would have likely slowed down colonization later. How would sterile water in your jars cause contamination? The mold spores had to get in some how so through your filter lids or during inoculation or they were in your innoculant. If it's in every jar I say innoculant.

Most of the time when using grain alot of contaimination problems because your water content is off, you want to shoot for 48-52% water in the grain. Then obviously PC. What is the moisture content of the grain your using?

Mold comes from mold spores. You must use a glovebox to ensure success. Otherwise, your chances are very slim. There's a short video clip on grain prep on my site. RR

It just takes practice, you could likely use the same method to calculate moisture content before adding water. To do that you take 100 grams of wet, bake in the the oven at 250 degrees for for 3-4 hours and then weigh that same amount and calculate the difference.
You should do this prior to adding water so that you can determine how much water to add. Which should be around 2/3-3/4 cup water to 1 cup of rye (quart jars).

Completely agree, but doesn't having your moisture content off also create better enviroments for mold to colonize?

Moisture content is key and that is why he linked to his rye prep video. However I bet it's not having a glove box.
Edit: Good way to guesstemate is if the blueish stuff is on the bottom it's probibly Moisture Content if it's growing around the same area as the spores it's probibly no glovebox. Fix both and you won't have to worry.
