First off, all is not lost on isolating some good myc. Ropey is what your looking for, not feathery. Often the ropes don't show up on the first plate. Once transferred to a new agar plate, you will get sectors of ropey and cottony mycelium. Just use the strandy myc if your in a hurry, or transfer it to a new plate that should end up being all ropey (nonsectoring). Many times the second plate will be non-sectoring, but that seems to take luck.
I'd recomend at least one transfer with several of the jars
Good luck.

PM me with any cultivation questions.

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.
