I harvested 2 of my gallon ziploc bags. With 2 coir cakes they only put out 20 grams wet. Im not sure what my problem is?
I use 1 gallon zip loc bags, and about 1/4 to 1/3 is the substrate. I have 2 strips down the side of medical tape with the bag cut out behind them for fae and keeping rh in.
i have 8 hours of light on them per day, and fan the bags out 2-3x a day after i mist.
so how can i get more yeild?

I would suggest using the filter patch bags. I am no expert but IMO I would think it is because there seems to be not that much substrate in those bags. I use bags and they usually come out to about four lbs of substrate. I usually get a little over a half once on the first flush. But I might take someone with a little more experience than me.

hmm not sure. maybe experiment with other substrates which are more nutritious for the mushies..??. pf jar to coir seems like it may be lacking some essential nutes. but then again other people have pulled off great grows with it.
are you using multispore? maybe get a clone from the next good mushie and try it out for the next grow.
I know it can be confusing. Im confused and fustrated with a few things going on right now myself.

yeah i guess it would be a multispore inoculation.
i have no clue on cloning and thought multispore would be simple and effective?

what do you think would work better...
using a 1/4 brick of colonized coir....
or
splitting that brick in half and making it fruit in 2 different bags?
