Startin to get this whole thing down! (PICS)

The second grow is finally about to be kicked out to make room for round three. Learned soooo much in these first two and a half grows, and heres some pics to validate that.

My FC. Simply two tubs with panel cut-outs. Works great for me.

B+ WBS G2G spawned 1:4 to 35% Composted Cow Manure, 35% Verm, 30% HPOO with Gypsum in the soak water. Spawned on 10/11!

GT Multispore on WBS spawned same as above.

The next run. 6 Qts WBS, 6 Qts White Millet, 12 1/2 pints White Millet all knocked up with 2 different LC's (50/50), 7 sterilized qts of millet awaiting G2G tomorrow.
Things are progressing rapidly now. I found an excellent source for all of my bulk needs. Something is happening almost every day, its so exciting. Also, all those jars pictured above are loaded with good LC's from two very potent and nice fruiting strains. I identified at least three major strains fruiting from the trays pictured above. Spindly and weak(12-18g wet), Large and Very Potent(25-35g wet), and Medium and Potent (12-20g wet). I cloned the later two. The large and potent shroom practically bled blue where I cut the stem from the base.
I'm not the only one who proclaims the potency. Several of my buddies have told me that the trip was something unreal, best they've ever had. I'm holding off until Halloween, t-break and all(have had alot of acid and mollie lately) rambling, stoned, enjoy, will update as long as motivation holds, get distracted tending the grow you know.

Nope, gonna fruit right out of the jars off the seed. I'm abandoning bulk spawing as you can see by my pathetic trays above, plus these fruits are down right awful...

JK Of course I'[m spawning. And I have more of those DubTub Shottys in construction. If it aint broke dont fix it.

I've got a perfect cycle for trays. One PC run sterilizes 6 qts of grain (remember not a full qt, room to shake), 6qts of grain spawns 3 trays at 1:4 to 1:6 (how fast do you want it?), 3 trays fill one tub. Once I get a few more stacks built I should be able to handle any overflow. Plus the whole monotub thing doesn't excite me at this point. And, those few trays of multispore put out a little over a quarter pound dry. I cant wait to see what the clones do.

Looks like I'll be casing the B+ tray this afternoon. Thats 4 days people. 4 days from spawining to casing, nice. Looks like the GT tray will only be a day or two behind.

nice set-up. im a first timer here. your FC looks cheap and efficient. I don't want to spend a lot of $ on a martha and ultrasonics and stuff. but i noticed you have a casing, that looks like its frutin out of the case, on top of perlite. Is that a tek? or your own idea? I'm just looking for the best way to get me a FC.

I thought of it, but that doesn't mean others havent done it before me. Never seen any posts about it though. But, I was just finishing up with my first grow of cakes and had some bulk-sub trays ready, more than would fit in the one shotty. So I took one of the many spare tubs, cut out the bottom, cut out the same hole in the lid, and BAM, DubTub Shotgun. Works great. Keeps humidity, fits loose enough around the seams to keep FAE proper. I think its a happy medium between the shotgun and the martha. In fact, I'm building a few more this weekend, only three tus tall.

I'd start with one shotty and a few cakes or small trays. It took me a few weeks of fine tuning to keep the RH and FAE right. After your first grow, then start kicking it up. This will give you a chance to make prints, LC's, Myc Water Syringes, ect from your first run. You will want to have plenty of fall-back options before you go big. I've got 3 LC's, loads of prints, and colonized jars of grain in the fridge (disaster recovery) all from my first and second runs.

Thanks man really appreciate your help. I got some, well a lot of further question. It seems like we are at similar progression levels, where as you are a more advanced grower. Is there anyway to IM or e-mail on the site, instead of these post?

Oh I just did the same, 750 sq feet 1 bedroom ALL to myself out of the city and yes I have a back yard (something may end up growing behind the shed oops). When I get things down I can't wait to have fun. Waiting on 10 jars to PC as we speak .
Great grow to stay on topic. Like the tubs!
