I would like to discuss Invisible Hopping Salamanders. When I was a child I was visited by a black robed figure in the middle of the night, I opened my eye and looked up from my bed to witness the intruder and he(?) immediately touched me apparently putting me under the influence of some sort of paralysis technology so I was unable to scream for help. To this day I am certain that it was an Invisible Hopping Salamander, the only thing that made it visible was the black robe it was wearing.

Sounds like IHS geurillas... during the Fold War years.
There was a rogue group of IHS's that disliked the conservative techiniques of the IHS Confederation. They abandoned stealth altogether... they didn't care if humans had evidence that they existed (I've heard there is video of "floating clothing" and so forth). I don't know much about what happened to those rogue IHS's... the Confederation won't tell me anything about it, but they will acknowledge that the rogues did exist.

Yes Sclorch, that's it. My visitor did intimate to me via telepathic communication that he was part of a rebel alliance commited to bringing knowledge, truth, peace and advancement to the human race.
