To dunk or not to dunk, that's the question. It kind of depends, would you like to be sure to keep the (potentially small) yield of your cake, or would you want to risk double or nothing?

If you decide to dunk, bear in mind that dunking _could_ be a large contamination risk of you don't do it correctly. Make sure to use sterile (boiled) water, with some hydrogen peroxide in it. And don't over-dunk it, 12 hours is enough. Read a dunk tek. Be careful.

Cold shocking can't really be that harmful, unless you put it unprotected in a bacteria-infested refrigerator. Shouldn't be a problem, might boost the first flush.

Good luck!

Go ahead and dunk for 12 hours.

if you decide to dunk, use boiled water. put the cake inside a bowl filled with water and close the whole thing with saran wrap [foil]. put in fridge for 12 hours. this way you dunk and cold-shock at the same time.

in case later you see cobweb mold in the cake [after a couple of days at least], you can make a shower [dousche] with H2O2.

good luck!!!!!

Get some (Penningtons) Bird seed and 4 old spaghetti jars*Clean*. Simmer the Bird seed for 1 hr. Drain, Rinse let sit for 15 mins.

Fill jars 1/2 full cover with tin foil or top on lightly P.C. at 15 P.S.I for 1 hr .Let sit over night.

Break the cake into 1/4's and crumble into all 4 jars. Replace the top and shake . In 1 week shake in 2 weeks done, Dump into your favorite pan and case.

1 cake = 5-6 g/flush

2 casings= BOOM!!??????????/flush
