1. Get two tupperware bowls with lids that snap on securely. One bowl should be larger than the other.
2. Place several cotton balls or similar material inside the smaller bowl.
3. Pour damprid over the cotton balls, filling the smaller bowl up most of the way.
4. Place the smaller bowl inside the larger bowl.
5. Fill larger bowl with mushrooms
6. Snap lid onto larger bowl and store away for 2-3 days. Don?t open bowl until 2-3 days later.

Looks like it would work fairly well.

I personally take a larger container put epsom salts into the bottom. Put a layer of brown paper over the dry medium and then layer the mushrooms ontop of that. As long as your drying medium is kept dry but cooking it more often you will create a perfect environment. Close the lid and put some plastic rap over for extra sealing. Works very well for me. I personally don`t like my mushrooms touching any plastic, only brown paper bag.

The mushrooms I put into my drying chamber are already 90% dry thanks to sitting on a fan overnight. I don't think it would matter at that point.

I made a drying chamber with some dri-rite. I just put the dri-rite on the bottom of the tupperware and put some chicken wire on the bottom so the mushrooms could sit on it. Lately the chamber has had a gas smell to it. It only smells like this when the mushrooms are in it. Does this sound like anything to anyone?

I use basicly the same idea, just the other way around. I fan dry in front of an air purifier first, then put into a container which is placed into a larger container filled with silica crystals. Works awesome. But that was when I grew..... -Bruiser
