Let them remain mature(When cap is wavy) for at least like 2 days for the spores to drop. The more the merrier!

Bad news for us all, it may be a very short lived season. I overheard a news channel talking about almost "skipping" fall and heading straight into winter. The mountains are already getting hit with snow, which has only been dried up for about 4 months. I disagree as much as you do, i just thought id put that out there.

im thinking with the climate getting so crazy, intense heat and cold, that the colder-striving mushrooms might migrate to other places that are a few degrees warmer usually.
look at Los Angeles, CA someone found cyans there!!!! its like 80degF all year

Yup

Lots of Babies

There was a good amount starting to show so it looks like a little more cold / rain and things will be fine.

Would I be able to ask somebody to save me a few spore prints of Psilocybe cyanescens in this thread?? Please PM if applicable.
Not sure if this is considered ethical by forum standards.
Thanks.

I slowly drove by my two large patches on Tuesday, didn't see anything. Gonna check tomorrow. One of my patches, was some soft dirt, with little wood chips in it, more dirt than wood, my largest patch. It looked like it may have been raked or had the surface mixed up, will it be ok?

I noticed a mature patch yesterday. Seems like things are going to go well in the Northwest. Found these outside Tumwater Washington. I was ecstatic to see the beautiful wavy caps. Found 'em on some chips under some Ivy... Go figure; I probably would have never seen them if I didn't drop my cigarette.
