Yes, bacteria.

Next time, take the foil off and don't use a so-called 'dust cover' since they cause more contamination by keeping your filter material damp.

The pictures you're holding in your hand are too blurry to tell anything from.  However, the second and third pictures from the top clearly are bacteria infected.

You can see for yourself.  A greasy or milky substance near the grains indicates bacteria.

You'll get much better quality pictures by turning off the flash and using a tripod. Set a light at a 45 degree angle to the jars so the glare reflects away from the camera. In addition, if you hold the camera in one hand and a jar in the other, your natural body movements result in a totally blurred picture.

Sorry for hoping on an old post, I was hoping you could answer some questions for me?
Is this bacterial and will it fruit?
Are the fruits safe to eat and drink?
And is there anything I should watch for that will make them not edible after fruiting and what would that look like? Thank you!
(Also the pics are from a few days ago, they’re much more pooled now, and more metabolites)

Looks very wet and bacterial..you could try birthing them and see what you get, nothing to lose, it should fruit if it doesn't mold out

Plus post in a new thread rather than resurrecting 10 year old threads
