i see a spot on one of my cakes about 1/4 the size of a dime that is producing little hair's.. im sure its cobweb.. since its so small of an area can i cut it out.. or dab it with H2O2??

is it a different color than the surrounding area? If you are sure it is a contam, cut out the whole quarter cake that it is on.

yes it is a dark grey under the hairs.. but since its not big at all im tryin to save it.. im gunna go cut it out now..
