when staring at solid colors (walls and such) I have faint red and yellow static with scan lines flowing down it. Also lights in dark areas (street lights, head lights, lamps, ect.) all have a luminous glow around them with light trails that form a X shape around the light. This shape tends to slightly rotate the longer I stare at the light. Only a few times i've seen walls feel like they're spinning in a fractal like pattern, but tends to be if i'm tired, stressed, and don't have my glasses on or contacts in.

you guys have the wrong idea of what HPPD is, HPPD is HPPD when it starts to affect your normal, everyday life. i don't think i have HPPD and i have 90% of the symptoms you guys are talking about.

Patterns sometimes move like the surface of water, usually when I start at them too long. I can usually blink out of it. I get some sparks and static too sometimes. Sometimes Ill look at a flower or something and it will just glow. Nothing bad or common, so I cant consider it HPPD.
A stranger feeling I have been getting a lot lately is a feeling that everything is fake or a dream. And all people are nothing but aspects of my own mind. This seems more dissociative/salvia related than psychedelic. It seems to be more common in me after I had a lucid dream where I realized everyone in it was a puppet of my own mind.

Sounds like a mild case of DP/DR. Might want to lay off the dr00gz for a bit.
