Solo, couple, or group tripping?

Recently I had my first solo trip, and I must say it was the most intense trip I've ever had. I honestly believe the amount of people you have with you, tripping or not, really makes the experience. With that said, here are a couple of questions:
1. Do you enjoy tripping alone, with one other person, or with a group of others? 2. If you have experienced tripping with and without others, what are the noticeable differences?
For me I enjoy tripping alone just as much as I enjoy with a few close friends, however, I'm leaning more towards a group of people because it's just more fun. I don't tend to laugh as much when I'm alone, and I really love the spontaneous laughter that comes with tripping.
Just looking for opinions, thanks ;D.

im the most experienced of my friends with shrooming....so i know how to trigger and direct their trips pretty well....that's fun and all, but with a close friend, two at the most its always the most entertaining.
but if i had to choose indefinitely....solo trips ftw.

They try a few grows, fail miserably and then after a few months or one bad trip, go back to sniffing glue, never to be seen again. We have a basic pf tek that's idiot proof enough for noobs to get fucked up with their friends. Mycologists on the other hand grow for the love of growing. They want to experiment with various species, substrates, and fruiting environments. They'll move on to isolate strains, attempt hybridization, and in general treat cultivation as an artform, rather than a chore that must be performed as a means to an end. They'll work twice as hard for a ten percent gain, just for the love of perfection. These are the ones who will isolate strains, not the dumb fucks who treat mushrooms as a drug, or even worse, a pathogen, as if mushrooms cause disease. RR [/quote]

I haven't tripped by myself an entire trip yet. I've tripped for a couple hours on both mushrooms and lsd a few times by myself, but my friend would come pick me up later and we'd go do stuff.
I feel that I have no uh... how should I say this. Like, if I'm by myself, I don't know what 'normal' is, I don't know if I'm doing something 'wrong' or dangerous and I always worry much more. When I'm with a friend, particularly a sober one, but by no means necessarily so, I feel much more comfortable because they keep me in check. My friend that I trip with the most seems to feel the same way. When we're together, tripping, we feel 'lost' if the other wanders away. Like we don't know what to do, what the point in anything is etc. So far, because of this, I strongly prefer to trip with a friend or 2, I definitely can't see myself liking big groups. I don't even like parties, I'd much rather have a few quality friends than a bunch that I don't know too well on a personal level.
With that said though, I can't give a fair opinion on solo tripping as I just don't know what it's about exactly. I'm inexperienced in that realm, but I'd like to try it sometime and see how it goes.

I definitely recommend doing it at least once, but I think having a clear head and no major issues at the time plays a bigger role in where the trip heads.
I went to a local park by myself, and I was a bit paranoid because I was walking on a bike trail and there were about 10 other people walking/running on that same trail, but the trail was quite big and I didn't have to encounter them too often. After about two laps on this trail I went back into my vehicle and put the seat all the way back and played some awesome music and just let it consume me. I did all of this right before sunset, and man the trees and the sky were jaw-droppingly beautiful ;D.

solo. generally other people flip me out/annoy me. or they want to go do some junk that i don't want to do at all. to me tripping isn't a social thing, i'd rather introspect.

Tripping can be a social thing, you just have to plan it out. If you're going to be tripping with others, make sure everyone agrees with what you'll be doing. It's very easy to have a great time with others ;D.

Probably my favorite thing to do while tripping is to go someplace outdoors (hiking trail, canoeing down a river, park etc) and just walk around/canoe and talk with my friend the whole time.

Both have their ups and downs.
Solo tripping is amazing. I love having the freedom to do whatever I want. But a downside I have noticed is not being able to talk about what's going on in your head to others that are on the same level as you.
Group tripping can be an amazing thing as well. But ime there is more room for error and 'bad' trips. If things don't go my way, or something happens to someone I'm tripping with (throwing up, falling into a bad trip, wanting to do stupid shit) then I tend to want to leave the group and do my own thing so my experience isn't hindered by their bad trip or bad ideas.
Solo'ing gives you that ultimate freedom of giving you the opportunity to make yourself have an amazing experience without the possibility of others you are with ruining it for you. And if you feel like venting thoughts you can always 'trip' dial a friend.
So I'd have to say solo'ing has me on this one, but group tripping can be really fun too

I can't really decide on one. I believe that they are totally different from each other and it is hard to compare them. If I had to pick though it would be just me and close friend.

it depends for me. If i wanna have fun with some friends group trips are always a great time. But if I want a deep, self reflective trip. You know the ones where you can look inside yourself and see who you really are, ego aside, I'll trip alone. so both.

Solo tripping for high doses.
Group tripping for low doses.

solo, although i trust my friends to a certain extend, i seem to trust them a little less while tripping.
solo tripping is great because nobody can judge you, nobody.
