Braved the rain for another quick cascades hunt yesterday, there are mushrooms everywhere you look right now . had to keep the camera out of the rain so could only get pics of a fraction of them, but here's what I got...

  Matsis
   Leccinum
 Boletus mirabilis
  Hericium
some interesting large mushrooms, I'm thinking they are the rather rare Phaeolepiota aurea
  Amanitas
 Yellow chants
 Scaly chants
 Various colorful mushrooms

Wow, awesome pics Spores. Looks like quite a productive hunt. I really like the mirabilis, I've never found them around here...Do you know what they were growing with? Awesome hereciums, and matsis too!

thanks
that one appears to be terrestrial but they more commonly grow right out of old stumps and logs, I'm thinking the one pictured is growing on buried wood. they seem to like wood that is very decayed, beyond the point of me being able to ID what tree it's from, but I've heard they're partial to hemlock...

Awesome, beautiful and delicious, in varying combinations I think you're right about the phaeolepiota aurea, that's a cool find!

Gorgeous pictures and great Matsi finds!
We had only marginal luck at interesting edibles yesterday but I agree - there are mushrooms up everywhere! It's a beautiful time to be in the forest right now.
