Here are some more pictures from today of lowland grass dwellers

Hope you enjoy

A particular striking psilocybe that i first encountered last year

I suspect it to be psilocybe laetissima nicknamed "the orange red psilocybe"
I've found a few patches now from 2 seperate locations a few miles apart
I think it has officially been reported once from the netherlands at a location near the dutch north sea coast over a 100km from where i live

It is very orange the pictures don't really do justice to its real color

Here it is compared to liberty caps which seem to share the same habitat and which were growing nearby

A large one growing solitairy a few feet from the others

An orange Hygrocybe sp that seems to like the more dryer less nutrient rich grassland
It is also associated with a different kind of grass then ps semilanceata

I love these delicate mycenas

Blueing at the base of the stipe of older ps semilanceata

Light's gone time to go home and smoke that well deserved white widow spliff

Awesome finds! I wish I had some pasture land like that to hunt in.

Absolutely brilliant pictures once again! That orange psilocybe is huge by comparison! I hope to be lucky enough to run into it as well somewhere in the future!

I am very aware that this thread is about a year old, so don't get on me too much.
I didn't want to start a new thread for my questions, and plus who doesn't want to see a few great mushroom shots like these. This thread deserves resurrection.

Anyway, on to my question. I am in the netherlands (The Hague). In this densely populated country, there doesn't seem to be a great deal of open pasture land. The pastures I have come across all seem to be surrounded by ditches full of water. How do you get on to the fields without being completely obvious. By obvious, I mean, I don't want to get my pole vaulting pole and cross the ditches the old fashioned way. Plus, I'm used to jumping vertical not horizontal.

Also, they are all small fields. Its difficult to get on them without being conspicuous.

What is the etiquette as far as hunting goes. I noticed in these pics that the two  are wandering freely upon the pastures. Is this possible?

Anyway, I'm headed out on a hunt now. I have a fly agaric spot that is literally exploding, but I'm really after libs. So, is there any Dutchmen(or women) out there that can help me? or anyone else for that matter.
thanks!
