hey mate, dont take this as discouragement - but you need to figure out the timing structure on that track.  Those glitched drums are not timed right nor jazzy - definitely gotta fix that.  Albeit entirely it sounds good evne on laptop speakers which is saying something.

But that is definitely a WIP.  Let us know when its done!

Rewritten thanks to my girlfriend and Typerwritermonky.
After receiving feedback on the original track i got to work on this new spicy number.
Removed some shoehorning bass from the original and added other symphonic elements to properly ground and drive the track.
I hope now it is a more fully realized piece and more enjoyable than ever.
Glitchy AF!
Enjoy;)

Can't thank you guys enough!
Keeps me driven and challenged.
Sometimes is what we need.

@shroom boi

gregorian chants are great in intro.  smoothly transitions into intro pt 2.  good use of panning.  albeit the transition into the first part after the intro at 1:44 needs a wee bit of work.  maybe a riser into sub hit to declare it?  symphonic elements are great.

sounds WAY better without the shoehorned bass.  this works way better as a downtempo track.  take that other glitchy bass and put into a folder labelled "sparks".  then when you start another track, utilize that as a "spark" to get it going.  thats what I do and got a great tip from ill gates and mr bill - those cool elements that sound great but dont quite "fit" - put them in a folder called "sparks".  whether it be a bass, vocal, synth - whatever - utilize it in the next track if you really dig it.

all it needs now is at 1:44 is some sort of additional bassy-subby elements to really make that drop pop.  not the shoehorned one, but something that flows in and out of the track.

Thank you soo much everyone that has left feedback.
It really helps me push things forward.
It is also nice to know there a people out there that will have a listen.

I listened to Imur by typewritermonky and I have to say.
Pretty delicious.
My favorite part was two minutes and onward.
I don't know why but I really liked the vibe and sounds in that later half.
My only complaint is that the track is a little short.
I really wanted more.
Theres a lot of different musical ideas that could be expanded upon that I wanted to hear but maybe that's just me being greedy.
On the plus side great mix down.
Can never really say anything bad about your tracks!

Now, to business.
Remade one of my old tracks from a year ago.
The original track was a turning point for my productions back in the day.
The reason the track was different is because I made it for my girlfriend.
My girlfriend of more than 12 years.

So it was an absolute pleasure to remake this on the anniversary of the track coincidentally coinciding with my 13th anniversary to boot!

Description is as follows,
Celebrating one year since the original track!
Shelly house two brings everything from the old and dips it in the finest shaman juice available.
Fat drums, fat bass lead, trippy, over the top and delicious rhythm.
You can really take a bite out of this house;)
Just for shelly!

Have a sexy weekend everyone.

A new song I wrote and recorded very recently.

"Isle Of Saudade"

Thanks for taking a listen.  To this day, I still just play from ear and don't know any theory whatsoever, so I'm not very good.  But it has heart.

Nice man, I'll try and give it a thorough listen through later with my studio so I can give you audio quality feedback but in terms of the song - I like the guitar and the keys - gives it an almost Pink Floyd-esque feel to it.  Yet, to complete that, you need more instruments.  Otherwise the dichotomy of the keys and guitar don't evolve to capture enough interest in the listener.

Thanks man appreciate it.

In this case, I purposefully just wanted acoustic guitar and piano only.  I didn't want drums or bass.  Wanted a raw feel to it if that makes sense

The whole track kept my attention and I like the kick and everything.  Sounds good.  I'm a big fan of that crazy bongo part

Dark vibes Shroom_boi, I dig it!

This is probably the best beat I've made to date. Got lucky on the mastering
