Have a tea party to this Downtempo psychedelic bass music I guess is what you could call it. Some feedback would be awesome I learned a lot of new tricks on this one.

This is absolutely horrible quality because I recorded it with my smart toaster oven. But, I haven't really made any music for a while, and I'm excited that I actually wrote something.
Please excuse the poor quality if you can find it in your heart. Thank you for the time in listening:

Thanks for taking the time to listen man!. As for your song you got the drum sounds down. Really nice kick drum and snare. I think you should try working on the bass on the drop though maybe using a bass boost plugin or eqing it and dropping some of the mid level. Or maybe just use a completely different sound. Adding some good sub bass with it would maybe help. Also I think you should try to shorten the song as it doesn't change up very much. Overall though I love the nice happy vibe from it. Good work man keep it up.

Got some melodic psychedelic bass music for you guys. Came up with the name because it goes from really happy to darkish and in between. Found a lot of new sounds for this one

ILIKEAcid, I liked your track Tea Party. Sounds like you are getting it more professional sounding. I thought the intro section didn't sound as polished as next part (1:34). I feel that part at 2:35 is lacking something to give it some more atmosphere. It's awesome when the hats come in though. I really liked the peak of the song when you return to that earlier part.

Thanks for taking the time to listen to my track man! Thank you for the good criticism as well. I've really been trying hard to work on my mastering/mixdown lately but am still struggling. The last drop of the song is by far my favorite as well. I didn't want to use the same bass on both drops to add more variety but now I'm thinking otherwise. Feels like a lot of waiting for that part to me now. As for your song just wow man. I love that style really professional sounding to. I particularly love the parts at like :22 with the roaring vocals that gives it that dark metal tribalish feel. Did you do the lyric parts of the vocals yourself? I really can't think of any criticism for your song great job! Saved to my likes for sure.

Thanks a lot mate, yeah I did the entire thing myself, all vocals and lyrics, production, and mixing. I had it mastered professionally though, to get that last 3% out of it.
You might benefit from using another program as well, you use FL studio right? For example I use reason in conjunction with Pro Tools. I generally mix and EQ everything in Protools. Or even use a free program like Reaper. You could bounce each element of your song as a individual track into protools and treat it that way. Give you more control of it.

Nice man you got an awesome voice. Yeah I use FL. I've been thinking of getting Ableton Live or Reason here lately. But I tried out Ableton on a friends computer and it just confused the hell out of me. Ima have to view some major tutorials to work that. My buddy who I do a lot of collabs with just started messing with Reason lately so maybe I'll lean towards that. I'll definitely have to check out Protools. Thanks for the advice buddy.

Nice, fat, and crunchy.
I did another one. Recorded with a toaster oven again, sorry for low quality. I recorded this for the blood demon Kaldron.

Took a two month hiatus to rediscover what I wanted out of music production
This track is the result of that. It is not finished yet, but I would like a few honest opinions out of my social circle

I really liked that. Great atmosphere, nice and heavy, dark sound, cool rhythms. Sounded like a metal influence in there. What program do you use? I thought production wise it could be a bit sharper, have some sharper edges to those drums and bass. You could vary up the bass sound with a filter or something. Also the bass sounded a bit like a generic midi noise. I love when the the soft sounding piano sound comes in. Had a nice flow to the song, kept me interested. Overall I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for listening!
I use ableton 8.2.2 without plugins, as far as equipment goes all I have is an alesis q49 midi controller.
I assume you're referring to the repetitive rising bass, in which case I would totally agree with you. I am not 100% sure which direction to take that, I am considering dropping it altogether. Also to be perfectly honest I have no clue what I am doing when it comes to dialing in the sound I want on drums, its my weakest part of my skillset.
All that said, I listened to your track. Sounding good man, wish I could get my hands on a decent microphone/soundproofing! So much potential with modulating vocals

I actually liked the drums. I mean the main bass sound of the song, the rising one was good. Play around with effects and EQ different parts of the song to give it dynamics. Just push yourself to the limit and you'll wonder how the fuck you created what you did.
