Should be studying, but decided to upload this.
Few things to know before listening:
-Recorded with a blender -Too much Star Trek/Mortal Kombat -Already aware the vocals need to be mixed better, it is just a demo
Thanks again for the time.

All sounds created by outboard synths, other than the drum kit...a collection of acoustic samples I took myself and some samples from a couple of my favorite hip hop producers. I plan on playing more guitar/violin over the album I am creating. pop/braindance/glitchy/ambient/triphop/neoclassical style.
Wow, really digging this. Nice work man, what outboard stuff are you using?
I'll post some of my own stuff in here at some point but I feel like its bad form to pop in here with my first post and spam my music lol.
Cool to see so many talented musicians here though! Love it.

Cheers, glad you enjoy the tune. I work with an MPC500, Yamaha AN200, MicroKorg (cheap little bastards, much too cheesy unless you know how to program it...same sound engine as a beastly MS2000!), and an E-Mu Vintage Keys rackmount synth. Luckily being gifted a korg ms-20 mini in a week or two for xmas, too stoked for that (how fortunate can one be in life?). I still need outboard compressors and effects for a true live performance but for now I just resample back onto my MPC or record/mix into Logic Pro.
Post away, I personally am always listening for gems in this thread.

Nice man, I too am a microkorg and Logic user! Love that little thing, loads of fun and capable of some awesome noises. I also picked up a virus snow recently which I'm absolutely loving, great little box.
Just finished this one up recently:
And a little "EP" I did, all synth sounds from my microkorg: mark-four

Hey just a heads up I had to go into page source to find those SC links, the embeds are having some issues...try just posting the link rather than going through flash. sounds cool though. Yeah access makes some cool gear, I really like the virus for sure.
I like your music, it reminds me of a darker less flower child-esque Boards of Canada. That general trip hop vibe...good chillin stuff.

I had a microkorg for a while but I sold it. It's a damn powerful machine though. Lots of great sounds

Even with a computer and a mouse you can produce some sweet sounds. That's what I did for over a year. Just learning the in's and outs of music production.
