Bass would be awesome to play.
Before I started up with guitar I was seriously considering playing bass but never ended up doing it. I've always really wanted to play drums though just never had the room for them.
What DAW are you using to produce?

Thats sick man!
I love the drums in it, super creative. Also sounds pretty cool when everything stops except the clapping/sample then drops in again.
Do you have a soundcloud man?

Sadly I'm stuck with fruity loops producer edition. Plan on upgrading to ableton ASAO

fruity loops works fine... as you know. Many pros use it.
If you are dead keen on another DAW though, I have clean warez that will see you through the transition period until you are sure what you want to use... pm me.

I actually use FL studio also, I love it.
In my opinion, it' fairly underated for what its capable of and has one of the best interfaces.
How come your wanting to switch to a different DAW?

It doesn't even possess half the potential that ableton does for mixing. Don't get me wrong fruity loops is cool and easy to use but limits me. Such as remixing songs without using the whole clip and chopping up parts vice versa.
I'm sure theres other programs I could do that part with and just import it into FL but I've heard ableton is the way to go. Bassnectar and ill.Gates use it. Can't go wrong there haha.
Also I hate not being able to do fast offtime triplets in FL. At least I haven't figured out how to. lol

you can use pretty much any DAW to do anything...fruity loops is still very capable. but yes ableton is easier to use for live performing and the sampling/waveform editing is superior in some ways. I personally use logic, I have used ableton but I find the GUI of logic to be a bit superior when it comes to multi-track recording and mixing... on a separate note, I released a free EP with net label housefly records, you can stream the full 15 minutes here: http://thephilosofist.bandcamp.com/album/aural-static-ep and download free via www.houseflyrecords.eu

logic seems cool, i am content with ableton tho
one big reason, ableton's built in instruments are fuckin bomb. like, i think they totally compare with massive and other plug ins.

Cubase and Ableton here... been swapping back and forth between them for a decade or more. Did do a stretch on FL beforehand though. Made some pretty funny sounds, this is going waaaay back for me though, FL versions 1 & 2. Proper broken robot music.

Hey guys, I just released my first EP, Pushing buttons and I would love some input! Just so you know, this ep is a mix of trap, hardcore techno, and other more subtle influences thrown in for good measure. (I know the link is the same as the one in my signature, I just added that) http://realgravemusic.bandcamp.com/

Yeah, i do agree that ableton is a little superior to FL studio there.
I'm just in love with the interface of FL.
One day i would like to sit down and get past the learning curve on either Ableton or Cubase, until that time comes though...
I'd love to give logic a try, i'm on PC though. I've heard the clip distorter on it is amazing for hardstyle kicks, I've also really wanted to try producing hardstyle.
Making a mean hardstyle kick is an art all on its own though.
**EDIT** Just uploaded my new track, I didn't get to master it really or get really in depth with a ton of eqing because my computer kept crashing from the project being too big.

thats it though!

Put out a five-song EP with a friend via e-mails. We live in different cities but the songs all have full instrumental components and some awesome production and layering. It would be cool if you guys checked it out!

Sounds good man. Kinda reminds me of Peter, Bjorn and John a bit on the vocals. It has a novel feel though, good stuff.
