Here's a sample of a song I'm working on. I played with the levels a bit and it sounds better to me, but still needs a lot of work.

Stuff in this thread sounds great. Quite a collection of talented people.
I'll post some samples of some tracks I've been working on sometime soon.
Each song is a different genre pretty much, but mostly electronic with some guitar, bass, and drumming.

This thread is filled with greatness. If someone had the skills, and time, they should mix everything in this thread together to create a super song
I'll be posting a demo of one of my tracks soon. I've been working on it when I have the time, so it;s been a slow process.

If only I had an interface.
I've been working away at tracks and using my Fender Mustang amp as an audio interface because it has a built in pre amp. I plug whatever instruments I use into it and it and use an aux cable from the headphone jack into my computer. The signal isn't perfect quality, but it's the best I have for now. The recordings sound exactly like they are heard from the amp, just a bit lower.
I have so many ideas that it's hard to actually record and work on them because I find myself getting bored and trying different things which sparks a new recording.

Yeah it sucks not having a proper recording interface. I probably should have purchased that first, as I have everything else I need
I should have focused on the quality of the recordings rather than what I actually use. I'll have one soon enough. And to be honest, the fender mustang works almost perfectly for an interface.

Here's a mix I did tonight of a song I've been working on for a while.
I did this in ableton as a live set using an apc 40.
Still needs work, The kick drum isn't right, or too loud or something, but It's come a long way since I first started. and It's just a demo.

Just posting this in here for other Producers.
I bought Native Instruments Maschine MK II the other day, and I don't know why I didn't buy it sooner. For me, laying down a realistic and goovy percussion track was one of my weak points in producing music. I would spend so much time working on drum kits and trying to make them sound better, and getting better samples.
Maschine fixes all that instantly. It's library is vast, and you can still import your own samples. If your interested I highly recommend picking one up.
