get some coir or something, crumble it all up, mix it in at 1:3 ratio and when you get back you can fruit that big mess of shrooms you always wanted.

If new pins aren't forming yet, I'd mist them lightly and put them carefully in a plastic container that allows for some ventilation and store them in a refrigerator set at about 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

However, the others are correct though. The best thing to do is to find a friend that can be a "shroom sitter" for you.

Why is no misting required? The pumps take out the old air sure but won't it also take away the humidity?

the air pump is hooked up to two bubble wands under and inch of water so there fore it creates humidity..

Here take a look at the tek and check it out.. you may learn a thing or two..

That doesn't need fanning and misting while gone? Won't that cause cobwebs?
