i found this one growing in my front lawn after it rained.
i dont think it?s an Amanita but who knows.

They're Russlas, possibly R. emitica, but you really need a microscope to be sure. They're probably poisonous.

GumbyDude has it exactly. It's a Russula, and we need to use a microscope to ID it to species.

If you break it you will notice that it breaks like chalk, not like other mushrooms.

Some of them are edible, some poisonous. None are active (that I've ever heard of).

They all grow in association with trees. So this would be a good example of a mushroom where you should also tell us the trees nearby.

yeah it broke very easly, it was growing near a holly tree
