WHAT HAPPENED?

my friend has 12 brf/verm jars collonizing. all but two of the jars are not showing any growth. the two that
are seemed to suddenly stop growing. WHAT HAPPENED????? It has now been almost two weeks and still no
signs of growth on the other 10 jars.

It sounds like on of two things. Either your substrate recipe was off, which if you followed the PF tek probably isn't so. The other is temperature. Try to make sure your jars stay in the mid 80? F range. At least try to keep them above 80 but not higher than say 87-88. One other possiblilty is steaming/PC the jars too long which may reduce the water content inside the jars.

could be you used old spores and most of them are no longer viable.
how much growth is in the 2 jars so far? maybe theres not enough air?

make sure the lids are on loosely... not air tight.

make it so the bands are attached, but they are not squeezing the lid shut...try moving the lid around with your finger with the band on, if you cant get it to go anywhere it is too tight and should be loosened.... you dont want em to be sealed, your guys need to get air...
